Windows Phone 7 heeft Xbox LIVE ondersteuning
Nieuws | 17 augustus 2010 - Microsoft heeft op Gamescom aangekondigd dat hun laatste Windows Mobile versie ondersteuning zal bieden voor Xbox LIVE, zo weet CVG te melden.

Microsoft heeft aangekondigd dat Windows Phone 7 gebruik zal kunnen maken van Xbox LIVE. Hiermee moet Windows Phone 7 hét platform worden voor handheld gaming.

Microsoft doopt hun laatste mobile versie van het welbekende besturingssysteem om tot Windows Phone 7. Deze naamsverandering heeft Microsoft doorgevoerd, omdat het nu duidelijk echt een Windows telefoon is in plaats van een telefoon met toevallig Windows er op. Dit moet volgens Microsoft hét besturingssysteem worden voor de smartphone.

? Dit is al maanden bekend,ook de crossplay tussen pc-phone-xbox werd geintroduceerd bij forza met een app, maar zullen voornamelijk arcade games zijn.Reacties: 1.370

Ze hebben nu meer info vrijgegeven erover: Als je een Xbox Live addin installeert (oftewel, je hoeft geen xbox integratie te hebben 
) krijg je je avatar op je WP, vriendenlijst en je kan pms sturen, 50 xbox live games zijn aangekondigt, achievements, multiplayer met andere WP7 of PC (met turn-based games), en Xbox Live Spotlight.
Die 50 games zijn nu al aangekondigt, en bij de launch hebben ze weer een groter aanbod
