SEGA stopt AvP console patches
Nieuws | 16 juli 2010 - Het ziet er naar uit dat alle console eigenaars van Rebellion's Alien vs. Predator het dan toch zonder console patches moeten doen. SEGA geeft namelijk te kennen dat er geen patch voor PS3 en Xbox 360 zal verschijnen.
Geen console patch
Clumsyorchid, assistant community manager, wist hierop het volgende te zeggen:
| Quote: “I’ve just received a mail this AM regarding patches for the console versions of AVP and I regret to inform everyone that these have sadly been scrapped." “I had previously made a claim that these were coming and at the time, this was very much on the table. For the console community, I apologize, as I know there are many features and updates that you’d like to see. I’ll keep fighting internally for this to happen, but until I hear otherwise, there will not be a console patch for either Xbox or PS3.” |
PC patch
Over wat er zou gebeuren met de PC patch wilde Clumsyorchid nog niet veel over kwijt, hij zei het volgende:

wtf ? dat is eigenlijk te gek voor woorden ! ze weten dat de game niet goed is en dat er vanalles aan mankeert , en toch doen ze er niks aan ! veel succes met jullie volgende game dan ! ik denk nu wel 2 x na voor ik weer iets van rebellion koop.

Dit vind ik echt diep triest. De laatste patch voor de pc had zeker nog uit moeten komen voor de consoles omdat dit toch heel veel goed maakte. En zo hebben zojuist Sega als Rebellion zichzelf de das omgedaan!
