Patch onderweg voor Lost Planet 2

Nieuws | 6 juni 2010 - Er is een patch onderweg voor de nieuwste third person shooter van Capcom, Lost Planet 2.

Patch
Capcom heeft bekendgemaakt dat er voor de PlayStation 3 en de Xbox 360 versie van Lost Planet 2 een patch op stapel ligt, die binnenkort beschikbaar zal worden gesteld. De patch zal de volgende problemen gaan oplossen:

Quote: Respawning points are changed - e.g. the player can start from the beginning of the boss fight, rather than start the level from the beginning and so on. (Applies to the whole game) The player's attacking power has been strengthened. (This applies when the difficulty level is set at either Easy or Normal and when only one player starts the game.) The level of animations for the player being affected near by attack/explosion is lowered. (This applies when the difficulty level is set at either Easy or Normal and when only one player starts the game.) The level of damage to the player is lowered. (This applies when the difficulty level is set at either Easy or Normal and when only one player starts the game.) Harmonizer is adjusted to be more powerful. (This applies when the difficulty level is set at either Easy or Normal and when only one player starts the game.) The level of animations for the enemies being affected near by attack/explosion is increased. (This applies when the difficulty level is set at either Easy or Normal and when only one player starts the game.) Tip texts are added to the objects that require the B button action such as Data Posts. (Applies to the whole game.) Weapons' parameters are adjusted - i.e. they became quite evenly balanced (not too strong, not too weak). (Applies to the whole game.) The speed of the player's dash is increased. (Applies to the whole game.)

PlayStation 3 bezitters kunnen de patch morgen al verwachten, maar aan de Xbox 360 patch wordt nog gewerkt.

Lost Planet 2
Lost Planet 2 is het vervolg op de third person shooter Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions, die begin 2008 uitkwam voor de Playstation 3. Er zijn 10 jaar verstreken sinds de gebeurtenissen uit het eerste spel, en het klimaat van de planeet E.D.N. III is drastisch veranderd. De sneeuw is gesmolten en heeft plaats gemaakt voor tropische oerwouden en moerassen. Het verhaal richt zich niet langer op het personage Wayne Holden, maar op een groep sneeuwpiraten die proberen E.D.N. III over te nemen.
