Splinter Cell: Conviction een '' Multiplayer met verhaal''

Nieuws | 12 maart 2010 - Patrick Redding, de persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor het verhaal achter Far Cry 2, heeft laten weten dat Splinter Cell: Conviction een multiplayer met een verhaal krijgt.

In gesprek met OXMliet Patrick Redding weten dat Ubisoft wil zien dat het verhaal in Splinter Cell: Conviction een grote rol gaat spelen in verschillende co-op modes:

Quote: They wanted to have a multiplayer with a story and they knew that wasn't going to be conventional using all the same tools they're using in Conviction and seamlessly weaving narrative into it meant that it was really going to be heavily about the characters and what their relationship is like. It turned out to be an interesting fit for me - so they brought me in and I've been with the project ever since. It's about as different from Far Cry 2 as you can get, in the sense that the story is authored.

Multiplayer
Patrick Redding voegde hier nog aan toe dat hij een kritische les heeft kunnen toepassen. Met name in de co-op wil hij dat spelers het verhaal beleven. Dit moet voor de gamers aanvoelen als een ervaring.
