Geen multiplayer voor Deus Ex 3

Nieuws | 12 maart 2010 - Eidos Montréal heeft bevestigt dat er geen multiplayer komt voor Deus Ex 3, ofwel Human Revolution.

Jean-Francois Dugas liet in een interview met IGNweten dat Deus Ex: Human Revolution een single player only game wordt. Deus Ex 3 is het 1ste project van de nieuwe Eidos Montréal studio en blijft trouw aan de Deus Ex Legacy. Het team van Eidos Montréal heeft er zeer bewust voor gekozen om zich enkel en puur te focussen op de single-player mode van de game.

Francois Dugas liet ook weten dat het 3de deel ontwikkelt wordt met het 1ste deel uit de reeks als inspiratiebron:

Quote: Deus Ex: Human Revolution uses the first Deus Ex game, which perfectly married the first-person shooter and roleplaying game, as its reference point, so you can expect an experience similar to it,” he said. The goal is to deliver the perfect mix of both genres, giving players the option of choosing to play the game depending on their preferred play style. The game is built around a multi-path, multi-solution approach so you often have more than one way to pass an obstacle, and within that you have tonnes of options for character and weapon customization.

De director van de game heeft bevestigd dat de game zich af zal spelen in Detroit, USA. Extra informatie zal pas verschijnen op de E3, al is wel duidelijk dat de game zal verschijnen voor de PS3, Xbox 360 en PC.
