EA tekent voor epische RPG

Nieuws | 9 maart 2010 - Electronic Arts heeft bekend gemaakt dat het de volgende game van 38 Studios zal uitbrengen. De game luidt naar de codenaam 'Project Mercury' en wordt beschreven als een epische single-player role-playing game voor de PS3, Xbox 360 en PC.

Elder Scrolls invloeden
Project Mercury wordt ontwikkeld door Rise of Nations ontwikkelaar Big Huge Games, wat onderdeel is van 38 Studios. De leiding is in handen van niemand minder dan ex-Elder Scrolls lead designer, ken Rolston. De oprichter van 38 Studios, Curt Schilling, was erg te spreken over de game:

Salvatore
De game speelt zich af in het universum dat is gecreëerd door New York Times best-selling fantasy auteur R. A. Salvatore. Salvatore, die wereldwijd 15 miljoen boeken verkocht, zal deze week aanwezig zijn op de Game Developers Conference voor een toespraak over het creatieve proces achter fantasie werelden.
